Income Tax Return – Preparation

After filling out the client questionnaire, worksheets, and collecting the applicable forms listed on the tax organizer check list please bring these materials to our office.

In general an appointment is not necessary when you drop off your materials. Please be patient and keep in mind that this is a busy time of year for us. If you are on a tight schedule and require a meeting with us before we begin the work then please call ahead to book an appointment.

Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We do close over the lunch hour but prior arrangements can be made to remain open during lunch or after 5:00pm.

It is important that you fill out the client questionnaire so that we have your most current contact information on file if a question should arise during the completion of your return.

Once your return has been completed you will be contacted by one of our staff to arrange a time that you can come in, sit down and have your return explained, pick up your client copies and sign the efile authorizations.

In general most returns can be completed in three business days providing that the materials provided to us are complete and organized.

All returns completed in our office have been prepared by a staff member and then reviewed by a Chartered Accountant before being released this ensures that nothing has been missed.

Once your return has been efiled and accepted by Canada Revenue Agency we have no control over the time that may elapse from the date your return has been filed to the date that you receive a refund if eligible for one. From past experience most refunds are issued in two weeks form the time of filing if direct deposit has been arranged.
